Pair of Extremely Flamboyant Antique Throne Chairs from St Mary Arches, Exeter
One could use all sorts of adjectives to describe these chairs with their sea monsters, serpents and tree eating ladies. Frankly we would say these are the most mental pieces of furniture we have ever had. Made around the 1890s they represent a vivid outpouring of religious themed imagery from a craftsman who wasn't afraid to let it all out.

Spectacular Carved Solid Oak Rood Cross, Figures and Pedestals
Originally from a convent in Thames Ditton 'The Home of Compassion' where it was reputed to have been carved by a German Prisoner of War, in the 1940s, using barbed wire for the Crown of Thorns.
