Subject: They're here!!!

Hi Jenny.....they're here and they are beautiful!!! I have been serving on the Federal Grand Jury in San Francisco for the last two weeks (not something anyone would relish doing!) and when I came home the box was on the front door step much to my delight!! What a nice surprise....I didn't think they had picked them up yet! .....they were perfectly packaged and in excellent condition....and I thank all of you so very much for all your help with these....they look like they were made for the Chapel...I will have my husband take a photo of them for you (and the website if you so desire)....so people can see you have outfitted a small chapel in California...you at Church Antiques have a far reaching impact on the world!....again, it's been wonderful working through this process with you....I truly can't thank you enough....I am sending you a little token of my appreciation in the next day or two....I have a break from the Feds tomorrow so will take care of things then.....warmest regards to you Jenny and everyone at Chancellor's!!

Thank you so much for your help yesterday in purchasing the ciborium and helping me rob the magic money machine.

The purchase will be used every Sunday from tomorrow to hold the hosts for communion. So it's nice that is used again for worship. It's polished up like new.

Subject: Donation of a Wheelchair

Thank you so much for your donation of a wheelchair to my centre. Julian delivered it and I was thrilled. It is just what we needed, it folds so easily and is so compact.

Amazingly on its first day in the centre it was needed. An elderly lady had a fainting fit, was very shaky and could not walk to the "Community Transport" waiting to take her home. It was so great to be able to produce the chair and wheel her safely to the car.

The pew arrived yesterday, safe and sound, and I am thrilled! It is even better than I had imagined.(size was perfect)

The gentleman delivering the pew was as a delight. Telephoning the evening before and arriving exactly when he said he would, taking such care to ensure the pew was placed exactly where it should go with no damage! He was so interesting to chat to.

What a pleasure conducting "business" with both you and the delivery company and please pass on my thanks to everyone involved. It has been refreshing to find that there are still companies out there that do care about their standards, principals and understand what "customer care" truly is.

The chairs are here! And they're even lovelier than we remembered them. I'm sure you sent us the nicest ones you had left. In a minute we'll sit down on them and have our first breakfast on them. Dave had no problem finding us, and we agreed over tea that we'll spread the word and have him bring chairs to Berlin on a regular basis. Our friends and foes will pale with envy when they see our new chairs and will want to know where we got them and how we got them here. Anyway, we're very happy we insisted against all common sense that we need these chairs. After all, beauty is rarely about common sense, or is it?

Subject: Harrogate Small Oak Communion Table

On tuesday last week I took delivery of the above. Even the delivery was memorable - arriving within minutes of the promised time, despite the weather. And, Yes, it was even better than I dared hope! On friday afternoon it was placed in position to the RHS of the Altar at St. Oswald's Church, Filey. It looked as if it had been purpose made - its own design is unique enough but the colour matches almost exactly the oak panelling that flanks the east end of the Chancel. All have praised it. It is a delight. It was so well received both I and my wife got a hug from the Vicar - a Lady I must add! Yesterday morning I attended Holy Communion. To see the table resplendent with the Brass Crucifix, the vessels of the Sacrement was someting else, but as I said earlier the Table looked as if it has been there forever!! To you, your staff, the delivery team I extend my personal thanks.
