Currently in pieces after being dismantled some years ago, this large and impressive screen is a very rare thing for us to get. Only one picture exists showing it in its entirety. Check our recent photographs showing close ups of the various components. Most of the screen has survived reasonably well though we have had to repair several of the delicate oak traceries. Unfortunately the tracery for the central entranceway is not complete which is why I have tried to grey this out. For a sense of scale the central triangle holding the cross (which is not available) measures: 257cm H x 187cm W (widest point)

The left and right sections are approximately 5.5m tall and 6.5m wide (will try and get more accurate measurements soon). Obviously, these can be lowered significantly by simply cutting the upstands to whatever the required height is.

Originally an attic find, then a shed find this beautiful eagle bears the marks (and losses) of many unsympathetic years of storage. Missing several semi-precious stones and a small figure of St Patrick, the lectern needs a long central bolt to hold it together. Currently it is held together by it's own weight. Nonetheless this is a special and important piece worthy of restoration.
