A striking painting from renowned religious artist, A. E. Lemmon, dating from the mid 1930's.

No longer in a frame this large mysterious picture depicts St Gregory having a visitation from the risen Christ. There are significant tears to the canvas and at the very least this painting should be remounted on a board. With memorial inscription at base, dated 1933.
