Chasuble Gold Agnus Dei French


French fiddleback chasuble with Agnus Dei bullion appliqué on a real cloth of gold circa 1880. central gold panel on front has been repaired and replaced at some point and the protective lace collar is rather grubby but could be removed. The bullion Agnus Dei lying on an altar has a beaten metal face legs and seven seals and is surrounded by a wreath of vines, grapes and wheatsheaves with gold coloured metal detailing and threads. Scalloped gold thread ribbon forms the borders and edges and is fully lined with faded purple silk. Good Condition.
