‘Houses of Parliament’ Orginal Stone Font from the Church at Burrswood Place, Groombridge (SOLD)

Previously in the church of Christ the Healer at Burrswood Place.  A relatively modern reconstructured stone base supports a font bowl with lead liner made from stone from the Houses of Parliament damaged in the Blitz in 1941.  A lead seal on the front attests to this fact.
