Antique 18^th Century Mother of Pearl Inlaid Ebony Macau, Apostle Chinese Cross. A very rare antique Macau Apostle cross from the 18^th Century. The first one we have ever had in over thirty years. Made from Ebony inlaid with incised and finely engraved mother of pearl to depict small flowers and foliage. Satisfyingly heavy to hold and the sense of craftsmanship and the hundreds of hours it would have taken to make this takes ones’ breath away. Various losses, all visible in the pictures.

Our minimum hire charge is £10 per item to cover administrative costs.
