Statement Piece Two Seater 1880 Elm Misericord Choir Pew with Carved Details (SOLD)

Reputed to be from St Saviour’s, Ditchling Road, Brighton a grand Victorian church demolished in 1983.  Seats lift up for the choir singers to stay in position.  Armrests have carved knops.  Shaped top piece connects with the ends via three columns with capitals.  Variations in colour probably due to angled sunlight.
