Antique American Communion Victorian Travelling Sick Call Set in Beautiful Oak Box (SOLD)
Six piece set with a dismantling crucifix/stoop/sconce, two patens, a candlestick, brush and handy ewer shaped chalice. Stamped on the back ‘sick-call outfit’ quadruple plate silver (much better than just double plating!) Pat. April ’97 (as in 1897). All of this is nice and rare, but possibly the best bit is the box which is quality lined oak with brass corners and cross.
