Sell Your Church Furniture & Antiques

We’re always looking to buy church antiques. Whether your church is modernising, being redeveloped, closing or you simply have a piece of church furniture you no longer need, we’d like to hear from you.

Antique Church Furnishings is a specialist antiques business based in Betchworth, Surrey. We mainly deal in church and ecclesiastical furniture, fixtures and fittings — pews, chairs, panelling, brassware and much more — from churches and chapels of all kinds.

What we buy — old or contemporary

  • Pews, benches and chapel chairs
  • Altars, altar rails and communion tables
  • Pulpits, lecterns, fonts and prayer desks
  • Panelling, screens and doors
  • Brassware, candlesticks, crosses and statues
  • Vestments, altar frontals and church textiles
  • Chandeliers and church lighting
  • Potentially any furniture from a church, domestic or ecclesiastical

Where we buy from

  • UK mainland: items of any size, from a single candlestick to a full set of pews
  • Anywhere else: we sometimes buy from Ireland, but beyond that shipping, taxes and paperwork usually make a purchase impractical

What helps us decide

  • At least two photos, including one of the whole item
  • Close-ups of any carving, makers’ marks or damage
  • Rough measurements, and how many there are
  • Whether it’s free-standing or fixed in place

Photos

Add up to 10 photos. The more good photos, the better: at least two if you can, including one of the whole item and close-ups of any carving, makers' marks or damage. Selling several items? Group photos are fine, as long as every item appears in at least one.
