Early 1800’s Cusco ‘Tin Art’ Christ & Child SALE

Painted on a piece of tin, this was brought back to the UK from South America by a collector in the 1950’s and professionally framed then.  The artwork is slighly battered and has the original holes where it was probably nailed directly onto a wall.  The small white spots are spider droppings.  The work is naive and simple yet not without feeling and talent.
