Unusual & Collectable Pair of ‘Egyptian’ Art Deco Oak 1920’s Vintage Armchairs (SOLD)

Inspired by the furniture discovered by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings in 1922 including that of Tutankhamun.  Loose cushions on top of strapping are baggy but surprisingly comfortable.  Old woodworm holes on one arm, treated as a precaution.  From Prysten House, the oldest private house in Plymouth.
